I have been eating at Modesto Sukiyaki since 1990 and they have never disappointed me. The food is delicious. I would recommend it to anyone.
Pros: the best Japanese food in town

My favorite place to go ever!!!! Ive been a costumer for about 10 years and its just get better. Around Christmas time they always give me and my family sake cups to take home with us and free appetizers. They are wonderful people. I love supporting a mom and pop shop. Keep up the good work!

My daughter and I went there for lunch today. The atmosphere and decor were very nice as were the staff.
The miso soup was some of the best I have ever had.
I ordered shrimp tempura which was OK but the waitress forgot to bring my dipping sauce.
My daughter ordered the Sesame Chicken and it was so salty that she couldn't eat it and had to send it back. Not something she makes a practice of. I found it extremely salty, too.
I really wanted to like this place and will be glad to give it another try.
